Special Event | Preview Screening of Ages of Ice
Presented by the ABC and Jervis Bay Maritime Museum | Friday 30th October
The ABC and Jervis Bay Maritime Museum are pleased to present a special preview screening event of Ages of Ice followed by panel discussion with filmmaker Karina Holden and Stephen Oliver, ABC commissioning editor.
An opportunity to preview the documentary before it hits TV screens and witness the valuable work of scientists in driving climate solutions and conservation efforts in the Arctic and Antarctica.
Ages of Ice is a high-stakes journey into the heart of our planet’s frozen wilderness at the poles, following scientific researchers as they push the boundaries of exploration. Each mission is a step toward understanding how glaciers move, how oceans rise, and how the rhythms of the past compare to the quickening tempo of today. As the series moves from intimate wildlife moments to discoveries of global consequence, we witness the race to understand a planet in transition through the extraordinary people who go to the ends of the Earth to uncover what comes next.
